Account Executive

Leading Edges of Mississippi is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to serve as the liaison between our agency and our valued clients. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining an active relationship with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and project success. You will collaborate closely with our team to oversee project progress from start to finish.

As an AE, you will serve as the client’s voice when developing and executing successful campaigns. To succeed in this role, you must excel at relationship-building, project delivery, and the proactive pursuit of new opportunities within our existing client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities for assigned clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Engage in strategy discussions and brainstorming sessions with clients, assisting them in developing effective campaigns.
  • Stay informed about the progress of clients' projects through interactions with traffic managers and relevant personnel.
  • Provide client/project updates and report progress during agency production meetings.
  • Effectively present, sell, and defend all agency work and proposals to clients. Offer support to other client service team members in these functions.
  • Stay up to date on clients' brands, products, services, and marketing developments.
  • Assist in the preparation of client invoices, proposals, marketing communications, and strategic marketing plans, including media and public relations plans.
  • Oversee the execution of approved programs.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to design innovative campaigns.
  • Manage the client’s marketing budget efficiently and verify billing accuracy prior to release to clients.
  • Review and approve creative/production materials, website development, media schedules, and production timelines.
  • Represent the agency at industry and community functions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience as an account executive or in a related position is preferred.
  • Strong project and budget management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Outgoing and pleasant personality.
  • Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.

Freelance Website Developer/Graphic Designer 

We are seeking a dynamic individual well versed in both website design (coding) and graphic design. We never have a shortage of projects, so every day is different. One day you may be coding and designing a robust website. Next, you may be creating a print campaign for a large hospital brand or social media posts for clients across many different types of businesses. In the interim, this will be a freelance position. This could lead to a full-time position.

Proficiency In

  • High-end graphic design
  • Design software (such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • HTML5/CSS3
  • JavaScript/jQuery
  • Responsive design
  • WordPress development
  • Browser developer tools for testing/debugging

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design

Requirements

  • A two-year or four-year degree in graphic design and/or website development is a plus.
  • Proven graphic design and website development experience
  • A strong portfolio of graphics and website development
  • Knowledge and experience using PMS color, CMYK, and digital color spaces
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • A good understanding of trends, competition, and target audience demographics for creating compelling designs
